The Pragmatic

http://i44.tinypic.com/outv81.jpg

You probably been reading the wrong blogs if you can't identify who RAC (Remix Artists Collective) are by now, a simple search on hypem shall refresh your memory if it seems a little hazy.

If punky melodramatic pop is your kind of thing, then The Pragmatic (RAC's André Allen Anjos side project/band) should be the right shot of wacky tropical synth & Gameboy'd keyboard business... the kind of deliberately straying DIY that could easily bring Friends' Ross to tears.

They've got a new 5 tracks EP called Circles out on Optimus Rec & they want you to have it all for free!

01. Circles
02. Academy
03. You Blame Me
04. Deathmatch
05. Rendezvous

The Pragmatic - Circles (EP)

While you're at it, make sure you check out this analogue cosmic re-animation, loves it!

Justice - Phantom Part III (The Pragmatic Remix) 320kbps

Watch out for new RAC remixes of U2, Ra Ra Riot, Chester French, Pacific! & Yeah Yeah Yeahs + a secret exclusive one of a new band crush (if it happens - fingers crossed).

Have you tried using http://www.opendns.com/
for your DNS settings?

The Pragmatic are pretty damn awesome, but that Justice remix is balls.

They don't make 'heavy' electro beats and thats what phantom's about, you can't funny it up. strange one to attempt.

Heyy, I'm so sorry that the site isn't working for some of you. I've been trying to narrow this issue down for a couple weeks now.

Right now there is a possibility that it is on your ISP's side. Their DNS servers seem to point to a different IP.

I'm doing my best to get it up and running.

That EP is sick. Sick, sick, sick. If Death Cab for Cutie were produced by Boys Noize it couldn't sound better. Next time I'm out DJing I'm going to include either Circles or Deathmatch.

For those who can't download EP, you can do like me: ask a friend to send you EP's URL (http://theremixcompany.co.uk/prag/circlesep.zip) and paste it on http://dlatwork.com/. This website will download and send the file back to you.

Thanks Andre for watching for the problem (and thanks for that brilliant sound). I think it's on my ISP's side too because friend of mine with another ISP reaches RAC site normally. If it can help, my ISP is one of the biggest in France: SFR (formerly Neuf).
