It’s a Sunday morning, I'm half awake listening to Joakim's re-edit of Kleerup and the first thing I think of in bed is “I want a Joakim & The Disco album asap” – just the thought of Joakim Bouaziz inventing analogue-ish music with a set of mustachioed lads in jeans makes my morning wood slightly more enjoyable, now I wonder how it would be with their ep/album on my iPod right there waiting for me at the start of every day.
If you haven’t heard Love & Romance & A Special Person yet, then I recommend you’d get on that asap, because and I quote myself “It sounds like a Gay Mr. Oizo making melodic disco for a dating service TV ad!”
