Super-Lounge-Dance/Indie-Pop-Couture pioneers Cicada are soon to add another LP to their discography. Following the huge success of its self-titled predecessor, Cicada are set to release their second album Roulette on 25 May 09 through Critical Mass - preceded by the release of the single Metropolis on 18 May 09 with remixes from The Twelves, Charlie Fanclub & the band themselves.

Roulette effortlessly ranges in styles; from the best moments of vintage electro-pop to the darkest recesses of electronic-indie & one track even features Tom Smith of Editors on vocals.

Dance fans will hear echoes of William Orbit’s finest moments and Daft Punk’s seminal debut on the gloriously percussive ‘P-Star’. Indie fans will latch onto Technique-era New Order. Pop fans will simply hear great melodies and concise song-writing reminiscent of Blondie at their peak. Throughout, Roulette is underpinned by consistently big and intelligent beats, washes of glorious synths, and haunting, hugely melodic vocals.
