Exclusive: Teenagersintokyo!

http://i40.tinypic.com/1zvpvde.jpg
Whenever someone asks me if I knew/liked New Young Pony Club? My answer would be: Yes, but I like Teenagersintokyo better.

They are not teenagers & they are not from Tokyo either but who cares when they're actually from the land of the musical geniuses Australia. I've been rocking to their EP since Sept 2007 & if you listen to it you'd bet they make their music in a studio clattered with lots of glitter-stickers-covered instruments, under-lit jars of gummy bears, Venom lip thickening tubes, neon microphones, a huge pile of stolen designer shoes next to a broken wall mounted scorpions farm, & jewel crusted Ex Boyfriends skulls. They are that awesome & that sucks because it made it harder for me to wait for the album we've been promised years ago.

Looks like the wait will be over soon (hopefully), because 4 days ago they played their last Australian farewell gig 'Lift Off' (I heard they played new songs!?) as they are going to record their debut album for London based label Back Yard Recordings (Home to The Gossip & Chromeo).

Since they love Ohh! Crapp..., they gave us 2 unreleased remixes for us to share with you kids in 320kbps! First the synth of doom remix by G.L.O.V.E.S. & second an innocuous music box remix by moody Seekae.

Teenagersintokyo - Robocat (G.L.O.V.E.S. Remix) 320kbps
Teenagersintokyo - End It Tonight (Seekae Remix) 320kbps

Teenagersintokyo makes synth & rock makeout (with tongue), & I shamelessly prefer them over the ‘New Young Pony Club’!

You can still grab their fantastic EP off your local iTunes: UK, Us, France, Germany, Italy, Canada!

How can you not like a band that looks this adorbale!

Love it. The G.L.O.V.E.S remix (done by Yama from Damn Arms, bless him) is a bonus track on the some versions of the EP so I'm not sure why they're saying it's unreleased.. also Hyperbole had this yesterday :P

^^ Hey anony, yeah i'm pretty sure i saw the G.L.O.V.E.S. on the limited edition Japanese version of their EP but it can't be found anywhere now.

As for Hyperbole i had no clue, kudu to him for posting the Seekae remix but it was in 192kbps.

^^ actually i was pointing out that Hyperbole posted it first but you're too slow to process.. and i don't need to get a life, u need to find a new blog.

G.L.O.V.E.S. did a really fantastic remix of "Robocat." It sounds like they played the original song on vinyl and just stabbed it with a knife as it played. LUV IT!
