Who knew a Classixx remix could be the right shot of nostalgia to flip a bad day upside down? Beni's My Love Sees You is without a doubt one of the biggest club tracks from 08 & you would've been going to the wrong place if you haven't heard it at your favorite club.
When I saw the Classixx remix I immediately imagined & expected a rippling chainsaw massacre with raw machine power (something I recently started to grow bored out of) but surprise surprise, It's a new house angle to peep at the Classixx from! The remix took me on a memory trip back to my high school days when me & my friends would zoom around town mid noon with the top down, listening to 4 Strings' Take Me Away on full blast.. I'm saying this because the Classixx have somehow managed to achieve the same hypnotism that Take Me Away had in it's chorus except this time it extends throughout the whole track.
Echoed, magnetic & early millennial like, this is by far my favorite Classixx remix to date.

I was so excited about this, the original has such a bouncy sheen of awesomeness. But this seems to fall short for me, maybe just because I was expecting something a bit more punchy. It's pretty nice though, but I'd suggest checking out the re-dub Beni does, it's amazing in its own right.
tsk tsk tsk to all of you dumb fucking readers. this remix is gold. and i usually disagree w/ Faisal. all the melodies and blips and ambience is very very well placed in thsi. and it is very intentional sounding, which is rare in remixes these days.

I haven't in any way have said that this remix is better than the rest off the official release, & i stick to what i said.
First because this is so different form the usual CLASSIXX & second.. it's amazing because this kind of sound was deliberately made & not an accident. I seriously haven't heard a cheesy/commercial house remix in a long time that i thought is hype worthy.
Don't compare it tot the other remixes, just listen to it as it is & what they meant for it to be.

i think the classixx are some of the tightest producers out there. the standard of their production is waaaayy above your standard "blog house" producer. awesome application of reverb in all their tracks...... shurely they could have come up with something less cheesy sounding than "classixx" though??

Excellent remix, although the track becomes a little bit meh about halfway through.. But I could keep on spinning that part at the end for ages!

I am gonna have to agree with FJ and Digitalclutter on this one. I was sooo happy to hear a remix without sidechain distortion hell or wow sample "fidget-y" bullshit!!! When are people gonna learn thats not the only way to bring the house down??? The original is bouncy and awesome but if you want bouncy just play that or the inflagranti (sp?). this one is so different and has such huge synths and reverb echos and drums but the melodies are also so beautiful! great remix and great post as always faisal!
