Have you ever had a spiritual experience with a piece of clothing at the mall, sort of like love at first sight except more intense? I saw this beautiful perfectly tailored shiny slim leather jacket at the mall yesterday that made me come the second i put my hands on it.. Now, Winter is over & buying it will mean I'll have to store it till December & also will mean that I'm going to be completely broke for the next couple of weeks but it's totally worth it. I couldn't sleep all night & it's been on my mind all day.. I'm going to the mall first thing tomorrow morning & bring it home! But seriously, this could be considered a good investment right? Leather Jackets last for years & can be worn over almost anything!
Though my ultimate fear is, if i buy it today & then in few months it goes on major sale? I think that could give me a heart attack, considering I'm not going to wear it till next winter. Argh.
Anyhow, I've got a severe case of the FLU (+constant headache) & I can barely stare at the PC screen for 20 minutes - Here's a bunch of goodies from emails & friends.

honestly, think about things before you act. Give it a week and see if you still feel this way about the skin of another creature. If wearing it over your own skin will make you happy, go for it. Or maybe you could use that money to support your favorite band, or maybe your favorite writer, or possibly donate a little to help those who don't have much at all. I'm not attempting to preach or impose my values, but I just want to suggest that you really think before giving all your money to something that you don't exactly NEED. Verdad? Your jacket = haggle you've got nothing to lose so if they do sale it you wont feel so bad and go quick because if you want it its bound to be gone by the time you get there. x

This is what I do when I encounter something I really want but don't exactly need:
A) Give yourself a waiting limit...six weeks is usually when it starts to drop in price.
or
B) Buy it, especially if it's the last size and they're not getting anymore stock! Put it this way; if you're guaranteed to wear it lots next year, then it's worth it. Sometimes it's not just about the price...if you buy a $1,000 jacket but you wear it often and love it to death, it's still more cost-effective than a $100 shirt that you wear once or twice. Right?
Buy jacket, move to Antarctica.
Then it'll be totally worth it.

the animal skin person can really chill. If you're not someone who would ordinarily consider leather animal skin, then don't.
I've been vegan for twelve years, and I wear leather jackets. I honestly think it's more important than anything to use the whole animal if you're going to use any bit at all.
