Where have I been in the past 3 days? I was switching internet providers & that was the amount of time it took them to activate my account - unsurprisingly, those 3 days accumulated 6 pages worth of good/spam emails for me to go through & pick from to post & here we are.
But before that, remember FLAIRS one of my hype-crushes since Jan 08... the cockney speaking french one man band who while we were busy obsessing about the likes of MGMT & Empire Of The Sun.. he was slowly finishing his long awaited electropop album Sweat Symphony... I know writing 10 lines about why you'd want to checkout his album will lead you to skipping to the free mp3s bit of this post but let me just tell you this - since the official emergence of FLAIRS to the blogosphere, the still growing list of people involved with his project included: Alex Gopher, Etienne De Crecy, Benjamin Theves, 25 Hours A Day, Alavi, Cosmo Vitelli, Chateau Marmont, Jonas & Francois, Bitchee Bitchee YaYaYa & Death Metal Disco Scene among others.
But that names dropping is not as much convincing as devouring his drenched in sweat & bruised-grown set of rude-wit electropop gems all tamed by a man with Bass Guitar super powers.
