The Constellations is a Psychedelic/Ghettotech/Showtunes Atlanta-based collaboration/side-project between lead singer-songwriter Elijah Jones and producer Ben H. Allen who most recently had his magic hands tweaking for Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective & Kelis.
Their debut album Southern Gothic is out now via Make Records Not Bombs and is available through iTunes and the label.
Diva tune Felicia received the remix treatment from Death Metal Disco Scene & i quote him "It's a bit like listening to Cameo whilst working in a mid-80s Japanese arcade, with a garage band playing in the room next door." or it could be a remix you'd find on your ghetto geisha-girlfriend's iPod in a playlist filled with Calvin Harris' tunes & Pharrell Williams' productions put together for those naughty bedroom private shows with smoke & laser machines.
Death Metal Disco Scene handed the remix to The Constellations last night & got Ohh! Crapp... fresh permission to share it in 320kbps with you kids!

cool
what a pile of shite
I'm digging it, anybody heard anything else from them?
The Constellations are badass, can't believe more people haven't heard of them yet, their whole album is great!
Check out "Love Is a Murder," too... I think it's their best song.

Love is a Murder IS indeed GREAT, however, I think Felicia is the Single. It's a bonafide HIT! I want to try to push it to radio
