great list! i'm glad you post on floppop or i never would have found this blog - now i check all the time. so many were on my lists too - mgmt, cut copy, hercules, crystal castles, kleerup (ratatat and hot chip are in my honorable mentions). you should check it out!
we have similar lists, except ratatat was my #1, hercules #2. tough choice, but seeing ratatat live clenched it for me. and mgmt was the top over-rated album this year.

I often wonder who you are.
I want to add this on facebook...but I don't want anyone else to know. The more lame people that listen - the worse. It tarnishes the music in a bad way when the commercial radiostations play these amasing pieces
