Surprisingly, Blacklight Flashlight is just an ordinary student from Ohio with love for electronic music. I'm not sure if this remix is a total accident or if he's actually capable of constructing such a tune but if he really is, then I'm not going to take him any less seriously than let's say Boy 8-Bit or SymbolOne!
This dude would fit perfectly in the Valyrie family with his pushed into the future through static neon 80s synth sound, judging by this remix that replaced my pupils with glowing hearts from the fist play.
Blacklight Flashlight transformed Justice produced track into a super combo of dance beats, now over used distortion, 80s synth & even added a massive keyboard solo that upon arrival would make you think about self-transforming into your favorite robo hero from 1984 while yelling DANGER DANGER.
It's one of those that doesn't sound good unless played real loud.
♫ Midfield General - Disco Sirens (Blacklight Flashlight Remix) ←♥♥♥
If you're a DJ then you better add this to your set or I'll be seriously disappointed.
I'm definitely going to encourage him to do another remix, just wait and see.
Hit him with a Yo! over at MySpace.

the 'calling in sick' remix is way better, sorry i had to say it.
i know theuy are completely different but it packs a way bigger punch.
-also besides disco sirens there is much else on the midfield general album..
some of the kids that make electronic music at home sucks on clarity of the track.this one is very good mastered,it sounds good on monitors and same with headphones.Or maybe im having problems with the ears, but i like how it sounds.5 stars
DOPE track. Definitely not well mastered, not really sure what yall are listening to, but still, DOPE track.
meh!
TIGHT. Nice work
honestly the best thing i have heard in the past several weeks. it hits hard and has a sweet flow.
It needs a proper mastering though, it will become shinier. <3
F-ZERO!
I know this guy; I have heard and witnessed him play. He has real talent. Stick with him. He will be heard on radio, TV and everywhere someday. He has it going and I only expect more great things from him.
