(Read Me) Rants, Rants, Rants!?

http://i41.tinypic.com/npqp0g.jpg
Hmmm, am I back? I'm not really sure myself to be honest... but hey remember that shitty 10 minutes loop i kept complaining about in that massive December Don't Murder Me post? Well, I'm happy to announce that it still exists & what used to be a 10 minutes window now sometimes narrows itself to an 8 minutes kind of thing (yaaaay)! Our national telephone company is a joke, their customer help line is ran by airheads who are preset to repeat the following line to every customer no matter what the problem is, it's "We checked, everything looks normal and working on our side, it's probably your computer"...WTF!? They even suggested buying a new modem which i did & didn't change anything, i even formatted my pc & this Glitch yet remains...

I'm so frustrated because i can't terminate my account due to a 6 months obligatory contract which ends next month (bit of good news there) but then it means that i will keep disconnecting, unplugging the modem, re plugging it in & reconnecting every 10 minutes through out January which is something I'm not intending to do... So, I'll try to figure an alternative solution or I'll be obligated to put Ohh! Crapp... on hold for a month or so.

For now I'll pour out my frustration by fucking a Hello Kitty stuffed toy or something... I'm stuck on this boring, flat, prejudice, art-free, outdated mainstream, indie culture numb island that files me under Anti-social freak for not following the local rules of growing up.

So until everything goes back to normal, I'll be dropping goodies periodically into this post just so you kids don't feel neglected, but nothing proper until well.. until I have normal internet like everyone else again.

autoKratz - Stay The Same (Alex Metric Remix)
Peter, Bjorn & John - Young Folks (Klumpfisk Remix)
Lo-Fi-Fnk - Want U (Thompson Edit)

ps. My wife Elle organized a Boys Noize Rec Night event, taking place on the 25th of Jan with Boys Noize, D.I.M. & FRED FALKE! Make sure you get your tickets before they runout.

Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses (Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve Re-Animation)

So, I recommend you digging the gems up because i just took at look and there are tons of goodies worth finding even today (start at the bottom)!

Where Can I Find Amazing Weird T-Shirts For Under 30$ & Accepts PayPal?

http://i43.tinypic.com/8yrkat.jpg
While you answer the question of the day, I have a bunch of goodies aka 'Remixes' to pop up here for you!

First up, remember back in October when BigStereo posted an Unfinished/Unmastered version of Symbolone's remix of Kap10kurt's latest single Mission Complete, now almost 2 months later here's the final mastered & finished version in 320kbps.

kap10kurt - Mission Complete (SymbolOne Remix)

Hey kids, mark you calendars because on the 1st of January the Buffet Libre project Rewind will be back for the second time with 70's, 80's & 90's cover songs by Au Revoir Simone, Bonde Do Role, Goodbooks, Whitey, Starfucker, Electric Youth, The Young Punx, Malente, AC Slater, Sohodolls, Sportsday Megaphone, Miami Horror, Revolte, CFCF, The Glass, Codebreaker, Pin Me Down, Heads We Dance, We Have Band, Cobra Dukes, Grafton Primary, Freezepop, Super Mal, LAZRtag, Saar & Sky, Youth Attack, Dolby Anol & Baron Von Luxxury among others.

Here's a little taste of what to come on 1st of Jan!

Little Boots - Love Kills (Buffetlibre vs. Sidechains Remix) (Freddie Mercury Cover)

If you've been coming here for the past few months then you'd probably have witnessed my initial love showin' to tropical pop duo Ted & Francis & then again when they made it into my Top 10 Tracks Of 2008 list. Still they have not released a proper stand alone single or EP yet? I've had this remix they did of their own Erlend for over a month now, thinking it was soon tobe part of a long awaited Kitsune 12... well, turns out it's from Scion Sampler, Vol. 23: Kitsuné Pioneer which btw I super duper recommend you to purchase when it's out end of Jan, your iPod will suck without it.

Until then check this rebeautification out, if you liked the original Erlend you'll fall in love with the remix, so melodic & texture rich..dare I say 'Cosmic'?

Ted & Francis - Erlend (Ted & Francis Remix)

Yo, Alex Ridha 'Boys Noize' is giving away an unreleased “Shine Shine” Remix from Shadow Dancer for free!

Top 10 Tracks Of 2008!

It's here, Ohh! Crapp...'s Top 10 Tracks Of 2008, I've left out singles & album tracks because in the next few days I will be finishing the Top 10 Albums Of 2008 list & it shall include them all. Hit me with your opinions on what Rawks & what Suxxx on the list... let's get it on.

You can also Preview/Listen to the Top 10 While You Read!

#10 Metal On Metal - No Front Teeth/No Front Teeth (Less Metal Edit)
Lithuanian un-metallic dance plates manufacturers MOM shone the most for their remixes of Bloc Party, Wax Stag, Kissy Sell Out, New Young Pony Club, Datarock & best of all for their rage pumped Blood Red Shoes remix this year; but while we were blinded by the remixes an original didn't receive its deserving credit, a track titled No Front Teeth which is weirdly an anthem for losing front teeth. If you'd get to attend a teeth breaking event you'd probably end up watching a cheer leading routine by fronteethless (made up word?) cheerleaders working their magic to this tune.

It's a heavy metal track pretending to be commercial techno'd trance that sounds like an indie type of electro thing when it's actually dance. For those who suffer from fear of metal there's even a re-released less metal edit which is a good tune for bad dancers!

Teeth are for losers.

http://i44.tinypic.com/5casuc.jpg
#9 Chateau Marmont - Anything & Everywhere
Deriving from the now-became-preset distortion scene in France, meet the currently on high demand for remixing & the future addition to your favorite Parisian synthpop bands. They are the sinus free Metronomy on redbull minus all the weirdness & full on melody without over doing it. Anything & Everywhere is a beautiful flawless synth powered piece of goodness guaranteed to satisfy the taste buds of every Cut copy, Midnight Juggernauts, CSS (early days), Ladyhawke, Sebastien Tellier & Seelenluft fan.

I think they found the holy book of melodic arcade hall pop, there is no other explanation.

Fresh, current & to the point.

http://i39.tinypic.com/21oarzq.jpg
#8 The Twelves - When You Talk
It's a pain to get even a bootleg remix off the guys let alone ask for it in high bitrate, these newcomers actually are aware of the powers they hold within their sound & price charging higher than Fred Falke for remixes even proves it further more that when other might need years to build a reputation they already have it (all thanks to blogs I must say). Arrogant or not, I admit that every time i see their name between brackets next to any track I immediately assume it would be brilliant & I was never wrong - they just know what they are doing.

They've got everything in their favor that even their demos, When You Talk being one of them are being considered by many that i know as top tracks of the year. There's something really really perfect about this song that I'm not even sure they know what they made & i don't think they could have done on purpose.

I don't really care if there's a some sort of a hidden spell within their tunes, because i want loads more of this.

#7 Zombie Nation - Forza/ZZT - The Worm/Tiga - Mind Dimension 2
The sound of the future? The genetic mutation of eardrums? The maximal illusion of minimal techno? The forced music direction change conspiracy? The conscious awakening of the subconscious? The extinction of high decibel? The illegal hypnotism through sound waves? The shape shift of pop? The antidote to goodness? The mass villainism? The substitute to sobriety? The selfish corruption of an international scene? The death of machine roars? The untraceable key to vandalism? A Genius deliberate accident? Answers: December 2009

Too early to jump.

http://i44.tinypic.com/294m0p2.jpg
#6 Flairs - Truckers Delight
I think I was the first person in the blogging world to say in January that this is going to be in my top 20 tunes by the end of the year & here it is within the top 10. Guess who shares their love for it too? Soulwax!!! They included it on the Pete Tong Essential Hot Mix With Soulwax & again on their Part Of The NYE Never Dies Mix.

An instrumental fuming with faux synths smoothly sliding over shipshaped bass & keys interrupted by fluky wooden clacks & claps; But what boosts it’s characteristic is the delicious live drums played by Cosmo Vitelli. It’s somehow a made-for-the-catwalk music with a videogame approach; this is probably what 8-bit music sounds like in 3D.

Fantastic Videogame Fantasy.

http://i43.tinypic.com/2vubkmp.jpg
#5 Ted & Francis - Erlend
I can't stop thanking god enough for the distorted car alarm like electro shutter stutter music making Like Whoa's decision to redirecting their previously fully unused talent to a more stuffed-toys-compatible side project name Ted & Francis, making vocal-present waffle-like muncha-ble dreamy pop music with a garnish of fruity beeps for the tang - a snack they call 'Tropical Pop' & it comes from Australia.

Their timing could not have been any better as the noise craze lightened down & melody kept sneaking in slowly as the end of the year got closer & sweet harmonic melodies is what Ted & Francis do.

Softcore Porn anyone?

http://i43.tinypic.com/28u4cap.jpg
#4 Lo-Fi-Fnk - Want U
You know when you hear a song and you think it's a cover because it sounds so familiar like you've been listening to it throughout your childhood but you're not sure, well when that happens it only means that you're listening to a brilliant song tailored for your liking & this is definitely the case with Want U.

It's a much mature & polished sound without losing the homemade quality, & to be honest i never was that crazy about them in the past but after this I'm willing to change because this tune managed to give me that awesome feeling only hits from the 80s & 90s managed to.

If this is any indication of what the next Lo-Fi-Fnk LP is going to sound like, then someone please build me a time machine so i can fast forward to its release date.

It should be the official international theme song to swimming in space with dolphins.

http://i44.tinypic.com/10qkppc.jpg
#3 Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars (Vocal)
I think asking Ted (Rhys) of Ted & Francis to lend his cuddly boyfriend material vocals to Shooting Stars was the wisest Bag Raiders move this year. The track itself sounds like a ride on a shooting star into space, extravagantly overwhelming, star dusted & therapeutically euphoric - I can't explain what the bass sounds like on this gem, but i guess if it was eatable then it would be hot fudge because it makes me all warm inside.

We bloggers tend to occasionally use the term Cosmic to describe a tune that is bigger than our earthly terms could put into words & this is definitely cosmic my friend.

http://i43.tinypic.com/2j3jpko.jpg
#2 Little Boots - Stuck On Repeat
Not only this marvelous piece of pop art got stuck on repeat through our speakers, headphones & ringtones but visually too as soon as it existed on the world wide web, every blog you could name in your head had to have their say about it including some of the most reputed magazines, forecasters & pop justice doers when it was all still a bit of a mystery thing.

Little we knew that soon what sounded like a Kylie Minogue inspired music outfit would turn into our favorite blog popstar that has nothing in common with the already mainstream pioneers but greatness, a pretty girl with a mission to mark the best bits of current pop and combine them for her & our own good.

After all, having her first track produced & hummed allover by Joe Goddard of Hot Chip only tell us she's serious and knows what she's doing therefor we were obligated to take her in with open arms & gosh I'm so glad we did.

The dirtiest motherfucking G-rated pop gem to get me slow-motion-pose-dancing this year on the dancefloor & in my bedroom, hands down.

Well done Vix.

http://i39.tinypic.com/k4e82p.jpg
#1 Justice - Planisphere
My most played song & the most downloaded mp3 off Ohh!Crapp... of the year.

The majestic track Justice pinned for Dior Homme Printemps-été 09; A gargantuan snarling mechanical beast gloriously shining in black light with over a 1/4 of an hour of theatrical opera mayhem, Victorian strings, ethereal church echo, machine prowls, guitar moans & bruising distorted beats guaranteed to warp you into the church of Justice.

Definitely deserves a PHWOAR.

The release of their heroes' agony gem Ultraviolence is backed with remixes by Streetlife DJs, Spank Rock, Vitalic & the forever amazing Chateau Marmont!

Top 10 Remixes Of 2008!

[Intro Goes Here + Bla Bla Bla & More Bla Bla]... Now Without Further Ado, I Present You My Personal Top 10 Remixes Of 2008. All Disagreements Are Welcomed; Don't Hesitate To Share Your Thoughts On What's Hawt & What's Nawt Off The List. Let's Get Rollin'.
http://i36.tinypic.com/whh5yv.jpg
#10 Digitalism - Echoes (Siriusmo Remix)
I don't think we've witnessed many 'Simple Yet Effective' edits this year, as far as I can remember the only one that comes to my mind is the Lifelike of Van She's Kelly from last month, which suffered from hatred for not being an obvious remix, although i do admit Lifelike took the term 'Simple' a bit wee too far with it; on the other hand the Siriusmo [Remix] 'Simple Yet Effective' edit towel dried the sweaty original, drowned it in a swamp of liquid green cotton candy & performed exorcism on it to get the digital robot ghost out of it & prepare it to softly voyager Daft Punk (when being smooth) style.

Have you scientifically witnessed the genetic birth of the milky way?

http://i38.tinypic.com/atnllj.jpg
#9 M83 - Kim & Jessie (Montag Remix)
If there's any name that would make sense next to M83 then it definitely is Montag & this remix further more proves the success of this combination. If the church of Sci-Fi virgins existed then you'd likely hear this gospel on a Sunday played by a full orchestra that goes by the name 'The Cosmics'; that is if this is your thing.

A silky ballad laminated by Montag with additional layers of synth, ambient, star exfoliation, sparkles & delicate melodies from galaxies far away.

Lots of people still think M83 is a band, probably because of the fitting-to-the-music-style cherubic teens portrait on the cover of the latest album; Truth is, M83 is just one guy.

http://i38.tinypic.com/2ry4oyu.jpg
#8 Studio - West Side (Klumpfisk Remix)
Here's a bit of a surprise, a remix by a Swedish nobody-to-bloggers making its way into the top 10 remixes list when believe it or not this is his first remix he ever made!

All i can say is, hold your breathe until the 3:23 mark because few seconds from there you'll be experiencing an orgasmic head rush where possibly the greatest breakdown in a remix this year lies within. Never in my life, I ever thought once that a Studio track could be DJ'd on a wild weekend night... let alone be danced to like its the #1 hit on the dance charts....It makes Mr. President's Coco Jumbo sound like a lullaby - can't believe it's unofficial

http://i36.tinypic.com/5zm7pd.jpg
#7 Friendly Fires - Paris (ft. Au Revoir Simone) (Aeroplane Remix)
It is safe to say that Aeroplane are the big remixing surprise of 2008, the blogs' fondness initiated near the beginning of the year & slowly turned into an obsession as the months progressed, guaranteeing the duo a spot on the Hypem popular list for every remix dropped into the blog ring.

Turning electro & indie tunes to lux cloudy disco anthems is their signature sound & what were rejected remixes of Cut Copy/Grace Jones eventually demanded for a commercial release after the masses repeated the question "What the hell is wrong with the label?"; The magic peaked in my vision when they bravely erased out the original Friendly Fires vocals & replaced them with the healing glycerin like vocals of NYC chanteuses Au Revoir Simone that not only renewed my love for the track but made it a necessity for the original album version to be re-released with the new vocals as a stand alone production... unfortunately that doesn't happen often in this copyright & cash driven life.

This remix puts the original to shame.

http://i35.tinypic.com/2d03o6.jpg
#6 Goldfrapp - A&E (Gui Boratto Remix)/Hercules & Love Affair - Blind (Frankie Knuckles Remix)
Two bookmark songs that will for years ahead resurrect (probably nostalgic) feelings & memories from 08, both conveniently addressing human intimacy; the folk former projects it through reality & the disco house latter underhandedly celebrates hedonistic pleasures - In a way the combination cries out "I'm a damaged animal & I want to be loved".

While both are bulked with volume on the remix, Gui Borrato ascends the grim dimension of the original to the surface with a doomed nuclear reactor like helicopter distorted bass that alongside Alison Goldfrapp's vocals gives me flashes of the most beautiful airbrushed apocalypse scenes.

On the contrary Blind got tailored by Frankie Knuckles in a fashionable house manner to enhance it for a lounging experience by smoothing out the sharp peaks & shattered beats of the original & emphasizes on piano pieces, midi tongue lashes & breeze carrying steady beats making it the suitable soundtrack for my every sunny Friday brunch.

http://i37.tinypic.com/2lo2kr4.jpg
#5 Mystery Jets - Two Doors Down (Duke Dumont Reconstruction)
If only I can direct every thriller scenario i envisioned in my head while listening to this in the dark, i would've won tons of awards by now. Dark, ominous & vague are three accurate words to describe this reconstruction - you know how in some horror/thriller independent art movies about schizophrenic people committing crimes against their loved ones, not realizing its actually themselves doing it & the whole time nothing makes sense until the ending comes, and reveals what really happened in intense disturbing slow motion artistic flashes; accompanied by weird fitting piece of music where you see the murderer unconsciously preparing for his crime, committing it, getting rid of the evidence so his other personality wouldn't find out & then eventually the best bit of the movie arrives where that person realizes what happened & it all gets amazingly too much & for a few seconds there you'd put yourself in that person's shoes & realize how scary & confusing it is.

This is what the last scene & post realization few seconds sound like.

http://i38.tinypic.com/xomvqt.jpg
#4 MGMT - Kids (Soulwax Remix)/MGMT - Electric Feel (Justice Remix)
I don't even want to go there.

I think every single person on this planet that knows what Hypem is have already downloaded these 2; they both made it into every single blog i know good or bad (except for a few that avoided posting them for all the right reasons). It still gives me a headache thinking of the process it took to finally have them in real 320kbps. It was hell but I admit, in the end it was all worth it.

Aggressive heavy machinery monsters.

http://i34.tinypic.com/4gi3nq.jpg
#3 The Whitest Boy Alive - Golden Cage (Fred Falke Remix)
Where do i start, where do i start.. The Whitest Boy Alive are my glass of warm milk, jasmine soap bar, log of white chocolate, shards of egg shells, clouds of coconut powder & tight hugging white briefs; It's all about the essence rather than the color. Erlend Oye is my diluted music version of Andy Warhol & his deep pop & voice makes me wanna cry my eyes out sometimes. In this remix Fred Falke took his rainbow chapstic and rubbed its creamy trance balm head all over the secret warehouse studio product to turn it into an epic anthem with foamy baselines & heart melting vocoded ricochets.

Fred Falke made some horrendous credibility shaking decisions this year when he obviously for the paycheck remixed some seriously underwhelming tracks, but knowing that he gave us this gem makes it all easy to forget and forgive. I have nothing but amazing memories to go with it, every time time i hear it I fall in love with myself more & more & there's absolutely nothing wrong about it.

http://i33.tinypic.com/4uc2nn.jpg
#2 The B-52's - Funplex (Scissor Sisters Witches At The Wet Seal Instrumental)
On a Blogger scale, Erol Alkan (Mustapha 3000/Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve) is my Frank Sinatra in legend density & gets me weak in the knees like a Beatles fan who just discovered an unreleased album at a used records store (whenever a [remix] rework surface). - Just like DFA (Tim Goldsworthy) likes his remixes to be rich and extensive, Alkan's reworks averagely hit the 8 minutes mark and showcases a flawless work only can be done with hands of a brain surgeon. It's not remixes as much as atmospheric higher budget remakes of what is already a good tune & succeeded in bring formulated into a further more substantial piece of art that simulates a movie score adapted by the shapes of the original. Always magnificent never average to say the least.

Ohh! Crapp... wait... this is a Scissor Sisters rework!? (PUN INTENDED)

http://i38.tinypic.com/33u6ddk.jpg
#1 Dragonette - I Get Around (Ratcliffe Remix)
1) To be honest I never was that crazy about Dragonette, sure i love a few of their songs, the remix packages were always tasteful & packed with quality remixes but in general, as a band (for some reason) they never hacked their way into my system.
2) I have no idea who the hell is Ratcliffe!

You may ask "why would you rank it as #1 when you're not that into the band or the remixer?"

The answer is very simple, this is by far the best remix of the year because it stands for everything that lured (saved) me from the ugly paws of mainstream & delivered me into the of electro in the first place when i used to call it "Arcade Music", It's the Blip, Beep, Bleep, Ping, Pong, Chirp, Clunk, Ding, Dong, Tink, Plink, Plank, Plonk, Twinkle, Tingle, Cling, Clang, Chew, Pew, Brrr, Durrr, Tsssk, Tak, Teet, Tweet & Toot.

A Tom & Jerry brawl in the twilight zone reinterpreted from visual to audio.

This is pure bliss on big speakers.

Ps. 'I Get Around' was released in my region in January 08 - If you think the Dragonette remix is unqualified then the next remix becomes #1 and so on.

December, Please Don't Murder Me.

http://i35.tinypic.com/30cm26t.jpg
As NYE gets closer the chaos intensity keeps doubling up in size day by day, it feels like a cactus thorn penetrating my belly button, I have a traveling plan to financially figure, flights & hotel to book, best of 08 lists to build (that I'm not sure I'll manage to), 3 days of obligatory continuous help shopping, family gathering/brunch, staying with dad at the hospital for his eye treatment, formatting & re-installing windows, fighting with negligent advertisers, preparing tweakage for Ohh!Crapp..., dealing with overseas money transfer delay, helping out 2 of my favorite artists to release their next EPs & worst of all finding time to shave and get my hair trimmed + catch up with neglected friends in Blog's favor.

In other words, there have been so many things going at once and still are that prevent me from doing proper posts lately & I would've apologized for the cut back but it's really not my fault!

So for throughout December whenever I don't have time to do a proper post, I will be instead updating this post with new remixes at every chance, so keep checking back here.

For a starter I've had this awesome remix that I've been sitting on for a few weeks now & It's by that dude we love who mustards thick delicious bass over his reworks, I think it's about time to cross Guilty Pleasure off my list & let you enjoy this with me.

I'm on a 10 minutes disconnection loop - meaning, I have to unplug the modem every 10 minutes wait for 10 second, plug it back in wait for it to test for a couple minutes then connect again to be able to stay online for another 10 minutes & It's been like that for over 2 days now... I'm adding 'Switch To A Different Internet Provider ASAP' to December's chaos list.. FUCKKK.

I think killing people should be legalized in rare cases or even suicide but that's not an option for me specially since Daft Punk, The Rapture, Crystal Castles are already working on their next albums (among others)... that's not the point, ahh I think my good luck no longer exists.. I think it dissolved mid Nov & the bad luck is just getting more buffed up day by day... I seriously don't want to end this year badly.

I have to go and buy myself as many pairs of shoes as possible next week, maybe that will make me feel better... ahh, Creative Recreation <3 style="font-size:85%;">

4 days into Dec and still no signs of Good Luck anywhere around, the 10 minutes disconnection loop still remains (I reckon the only solution would be formatting my computer - but that might not work too)... So, I'm trying a method that never failed me before, that is 'Being Optimistic' & respond to the spits on my face with the biggest I-DONT-GIVE-A-DAMN smile i can offer.

Looking at myself actually made me realize i have it better than most of the people i know here on the most boring island in the universe, I've actually managed to create my own world & make it real & working for my benefit (that should be a story for another time) but hey in every misfortune there is a window to a better unexpected twist.

I was supposed to go to Dubai on the 17th of this month but the person I was going with decided she wants to spend the money instead on parties during Dec & then cover it with the excuse 'I'm Broke' which i totally allowed it to pass because pushing the trip to January not only will save me money since the holidays will be over = less flights/hotels rates!

Now that i have extra cash, my mission is to buy 5 pairs of shoes (at least) & get my Justice skinny jeans ordered in!

BTW, have you seen the new Fan Death, La Roux, LCD Soundsystem, Don Rimini official videos?

Tomorrow I'm going to format my PC, wish me luck - i hope this bastard loop dies by then.

PS. Someone I thought trusted me did something very sneaky today - He shall be punished for it.

04/Dec
Sebastien Tellier - Kilometer (Moulinex Remix)

10 Minutes loop remains, but I have a strong feeling in my gut telling me today will be a slightly better day!? It's still 7:26am.. So we'll see about that....

8:03pm, Pretty normal day.. I spent it backing up my HDs preparing for the deadly Format tomorrow since non o f the methods i tried solved the 10 minutes loop (frustration) - but on other hand a tangible improvement luck wise occurred or maybe it's just a prank by karma? I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out.. there's something I'm waiting for.

Anyhoo, did you guys know there's a Maroon 5 Remix album coming out on the 9th of December - That shouldn't be a very exciting thing since major label choose lousy now-expired house names to retouch their releases but this time among the trash you'll find reworks by Mark Ronson, Of Montreal, Deerhoof & even a 7 minutes slow house burner by our beloved Cut Copy!

05/Dec
Bumblebeez - Zulu (Bumblebeez In My House Remix)
Digitalism - Echoes (Siriusmo Remix)
Maroon 5 - This Love (Cut Copy Galactic Beach House Mix)
Clubfeet - Teenage Suicide

Does anyone out there know exactly what's the deal with the Muscles vs. Modular brawl?

I hope the formatting process goes smoothly, I seriously miss staying online for longer than 10 minutes a time.

So today was supposed to be my salvation day where I format my PC, re-install the OS.. install my modem.. enter my user/pass combo, hit connect & stay online for hours but the minute i placed my butt on the chair I realized I had a problem... I need to backup 500GB worth of documents/music before i can do that!

At this point I'm just desperate to get my relationship with the internet back on track, my modem & keyboard suffered enough domestic violence & I'm willing to change... So I bought an external storage for 180$ & I'm transferring everything to it right now, TOMORROW I shall format & have everything back to normal.

Also, I seriously need to start compiling my best of lists - I haven't even started, but it shall keep me busy during format/installation tomorrow.

PS. Do any of you know any awesome online shops to get rad t-shirts from & ay place to still find some of those Justice D.A.N.C.E. video t-shirts?

Umm.. You know how today was supposed to be the day where I format my fucking PC and finally get back to normal separated posts posting? Well... turns out to do that I'd need a Windows CD, which i have but unfortunately my brother have given to his friend who lost it. This is seriously the wrongest month for all this to happen - I just feel unmotivated & kinda hating my blog right now.

The only thing that's keeping me updating is the fact that I'm finding a bunch of great gems everyday so worth of sending your way, you know.. you are all like my kids, I love you and I wanna take care of you.

Tune of the day sounds like a production more than a remix, It's the Fred Falke remix of Grace the second single from Will Young's latest album Let It Go. I've been known for being in love with Young's voice, heck I even love many of his songs. Without exaggerating, I think this is (on a mainstream scale) the only full vocal Fred Falke remix that i would consider quality since his of Whitest Boy Alive. The first time i heard it i just said to myself "This Is So Right"; I don't want to diss Falke here but there have been a handful of disposable remixes by him lately where his work sounded a bit uninspired, it felt like rushed in products of cash - less is more sometimes & everyone is entitled to have his own opinion.

07/Dec
Will Young - Grace (Fred Falke Remix)
Heartsrevolution - Ultraviolence (Les Petits Pilous Remix)
Cut Copy - Hearts On Fire (Goose Flesh Remix)

External HD 180$
Pirated Windows CD 6$
New Modem 36$
Technician from the phone company asking me "Which one is the modem?" PRICELESS

I give up, the 10 minutes loop is still here even after i formatted my PC, installed a fresh windows, replaced the mode with a new one & asked for professional help - nothing fixed it.

I'll just shut up, pretend like this doesn't bother me & pray tonight for this to be fixed because i think this problem needs at least the powers of Jesus for it to be solved - Jesus saves, save me Jesus.

Obviously I don't have the option of doing multiple posts, so I will just continue updating this one on a daily basis - consider it your December mp3 calendar, I've changed the blog settings so this post only shows on the main page for a faster loading.

BTW, the 3 winners of the Digitalism 'Taken Away' Remix Competition have been announced on the Digitalism Myspace Blog, they are ULTRNX, Popular Damage & Gooseflesh - I'm kind of bummed out coz the Tokio Tokima remix didn't win!

Today I've had a 20 minutes worth of DeJaVus in under an hour which i can't decide whether that's a good sign or bad... I have an appointment to get my haircut today at 9pm & it's 1:53pm & I don't want to risk ruining my mood over the 10 minutes loops & I need to clean my room & take a shower & go get my laundry & & & & &... & i have tons of remixes dropped into my inbox but no time to download them and filter the bad ones out, instead I'll just keep posting one every half an hour until 9pm - So this is the excuse that I'm making, is it good enough for what you're paying?
