I know 60s Psychedelia is not even remotely close to being the hot genre of 08 but there sure is some space on my iPod for some quality music of everything else beside electro, though my fondness for Tame Impala extends beyond plain listening sessions, especially with a label like Modular funding their aesthetics projections & accessories which in the case of this post is an amazing animated music video that withholds tons of wish-i-had-this-on-a-T-shirt frames!
I've read on numerous blogs & forums predictions of a strong psychedelia return in 09, god knows what their assumptions are based on but i sure hope it won't really happen because one good band is already too many.
Their self titled EP is set for release on the 1st of December through Modular Records.

I've had a musically inconsistent fascination with psychadelia this year too, particularly The Superimposers and Jim Noir
oh, and Freestyle
Black Moth Super Rainbows-Tobacco As Well
They're great live too. Interviewed Kevin last week (will pop up on site soonish, will let you know mister) and he was an absolute champ.
