Again Ted & Francis were there for another fellow OZ music makers, this time Ted (Rhys) lent his cuddly boyfriend material vocals to Bag Raiders for the B-side 'Shooting Stars' off their latest EP 'Turbo Love'.
The track itself sounds like a ride on a shooting star into space, extravagantly overwhelming, star dusted & therapeutically euphoric - I can't explain what the bass sounds like on this gem, but i guess if it was eatable then it would be hot fudge.
I've already at many occasions in the past have declared that the vocal version of Shooting Star is one of the best 20 tracks of 2008 simply because it's cosmically epic before anything else.
I've held back posting this for a while, respecting Bag Raiders wishes & last night they personally gave me the green light to put it out here for you all to devour & enjoy in all of its vocal & synth glory!

You know, "Shooting Stars" in its non-vocal version is my 2nd favourite song (TBC) of 2008 thus far.
I REALLY love this version though, and had I heard it first, maybe it would have been as special to me as the original version that surfaced has. But I do, only slightly, prefer the instrumental.
This band is truly amazing!!!
(Though, I prefer 'Turbo Love'.)
