Whenever someone asks me something similar to 'What's is the most amazing chill out song ever made that doesn't repeat the same lyric line twice & makes you emotional and all?'
Immediately I answer saying: Daylight Hours by Infusion (Australian Electronic/Dance-Rock act signed to Sony BMG).
But that was in 2004 & they've been inactive ever since - Last month I contacted them asking if they were still alive & they replied back saying they've been working on a new album due for release later this year, the first single being Dogtown!
Dogtown is a piece of sports games soundtrack fitting song that mixes guitars with electronic beats & sounds but most distinctly focuses on manipulating the vocals with a crunchy throaty the-grudge-like effects!
I don't think this is the best they can do, I'll hold my judgmental though until the album is out - I just feel like Dogtown is one of those songs you keep on your iPod to add it to long playlists for those freetimes but not something to go all mental for + the single cover (above) is just plain hideous.
