I was so afraid The Killers would throw another meh album after that no-so-fun-to-listen-to-entirely Sam's Town, but this proves it's not going to happen!
The band said, the new single sounds like Johnny Cash meets The Pet Shop Boys - in other words synth and guitars!
I say ignore all that, just imagine if Stuart Price produced it and you'll get the proper idea... well, no need to imagine at all.. because Stuart Price in fact produced the whole album, it is titled Day & Age to be released on November, 25th.
Human is the first single from Day & Age and is the single every Mr. Brightside lover have been waiting for.

yeah, it´s totally a pet shop boys influenced track. very catchy, but i miss the last drive..because the best killers songs also have a 3rd punch at the end of the songs like U2 also does since years. anyway. good work.

this track is disgusting!!! in germany we call that "schlager" which is sung by cheesy young singers while old people are clapping their hands to it. i thought after sams town it couldn't get any worse. but i was proven wrong.

Read My Mind was very Pet Shop Boys and I am glad they have gone in the direction. I may become a fan again.
"Sam's Town" - aside from 'Read My Mind' - left me quite cold. But this; my god, this has warmed the cockles of my heart to no end.
This is a seriously strong contender for Single Of The Year.

i was in austria recently and there was this old guy with a keyboard churning out some utter rubbish. unfortunately it sounded like this. completely agree with the 'schlager' comment.
