Lately, I've been around town seeing some awesome bands live/ catching up with some awesome music. Next week I'll be seeing Lady M.I.A. herself in concert, that is if i don't faint from excitement(!!!) and I'm sure to give you a nice orgasmic description of that.
Ladytron could have easily been one of the best bands I've ever seen live, and that is Saying a whole lot. They played on time which I always find attractive, and they played GOOD. If you think Ladytron's the shit on CD, go see them live somehow their about 500 times better.
They came on stage like true rockstars; looking to the ground and not smiling. Throughout the whole show there were 2 instances where the lead singer cracked a smile: during 17, and Destroy Everything You Touch. During the 2 songs specially the crowd was intense. They were so loud, so to the beat, it hurt. Though the venue they played at was not one of specialty, The Warehouse is on regular nights where all the pill poppers hang around. They were,.. how should I put it... INTENSE!
In another note, Recently Ladytron released one of their best singles so far called "Ghosts" and with it, accompanies a creepy little amazing video. The song itself, is quite a bit of Depeche Mode which makes me quit happy. This was the second song they preformed, and they preformed it explosively.
