Pnau is a band from Australian making music that is so fun and easy to get into that they've lined themselves up nicely to blow up in 2008. Their first hit featuring the formidable Ladyhawk is a simply great track with lots of epic vocal buildups and an italo-disco vibe to it. Their next stuff involves catchy use of the child choir which avoids sounding gimmicky because its incorporated so well into the electrobop feel (the production values are refreshingly crazy, btw), and the lyrics come off as genuinely sweet, occasionally deep. Agh, they're such an easy sell.
DL: Embrace (feat. Ladyhawk)- Pnau
DL: Baby (Breakbot remix)- Pnau
DL: Come Together- Pnau
Their website might as well been made for me-- all i wanna do is listen to good music while playing a simple, addictive internet game.

LOVE the new album, and "Sambanova" is still one of the best Australian dance records of all time.
Did you see who's supporting PNAU on their Australian tour? My beloved Van She... aces!

I got really excited thinking this had something to do with the vancouver band ladyhawk. I was pretty disapointed to find out its not, but I guess this is pretty good too....
