Underground dance producer “Richard Lane” has started a new indie band/project called “The Marches” where he turns into a Singer/Songwriter creating indie songs with several of his music friends who still remain a mystery!
The Debut Lo-Fi Rock single "Turn It Around” sounds like Lorraine, Bryan Adams & Cicada getting together at Häagen-Dazs for coconut ice-cream! The clean composition melts into your head with its Spacey Electrohouse melody, soft bass & Richard’s obscenely soothing airy vocals adds up to the tune as an instrument rather than a voice!

I've recently contacted "Richard Lane" & asked him to explain this project, Here's what he had to say:
"The Marches is basically me with occasional help from session musicians. As you may have seen from my site and Mypace, I'm keeping the info on The Marches very minimal as:
a) There's really not a lot to tell, as a person I'm not cool in the slightest
b) I'm sick to death of the vain, self important bullshit that 'artists' fill their biogs with, and
c) I like to let the music speak for itself at this stage...
The only info which may be of interest to someone is that I have a long history as a house music producer and I've spent too many years working with and for cool DJs. Well, I've had enough. The Marches is me making the music I want to make without worrying about the fickle demands of jocks. And I'm LOVING it... should have done it years ago." -Richard Lane
