The Sydney based melancholic pop rock group have returned with another album “Be The Twilight”!
The first single “This Heart Attack” Attacks with its precarious intensity, a song about escaping dangerous situations with a danceable infused riff, mixed with Hudson's apathetic vocals, there's something familiar about this. Like so many contemporary bands, Faker has mish-mashed 80's influences with a new breed of pop rock. “This Heart Attack” is a more produced and cleaner sound than we've heard from Faker in the past, which perhaps can be accredited to producer Paul Fox (The Sugarcubes, Bjork, They Might Be Giants, XTC, Grant Lee Buffalo)!
The chaotic catchiness that launched this band is still here & once you listen to it you'll probably have trouble getting it out of your head.
